Divine Mantra Private Limited, operating as Trip To Temples, provides the following services. We act as a tour organiser and direct service provider for certain elements, and as a facilitator on your behalf for government-controlled processes.
Facilitator vs. Direct Provider: For certain elements of the journey — including flights, helicopter charters, border crossing procedures, and government-controlled permit decisions — we act as a facilitator on your behalf and are not the direct service provider. The liability provisions in these Terms reflect this distinction.
A seat in a Yatra batch is only confirmed once all three conditions below are met. An enquiry, phone call, or WhatsApp message alone does not constitute a confirmed booking.
Document Submission Deadline: All documents must be submitted within 7 days of deposit payment and at least 45–60 days before departure. Failure to meet this deadline may result in forfeiture of your booking and deposit.
Seat Allocation: Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis based on deposit receipt. A seat is not guaranteed until the deposit is received and cleared in our account.
All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) per person on twin-sharing basis unless stated otherwise. Prices are exclusive of 5% GST unless explicitly stated. A GST invoice will be issued upon request.
Payment Schedule: Registration deposit is payable at time of booking (as specified per package). Balance payment is due at least 45 days before departure. Failure to pay by the due date results in automatic cancellation and forfeiture of deposit.
Accepted Payment Methods: NEFT/RTGS bank transfer, UPI, cheque (subject to clearance), and online payment gateway. Cash payments are not accepted for amounts above ₹2,000 in compliance with the Income Tax Act.
Price Revisions: Prices are locked at booking confirmation. However, prior notice will be given if a revision becomes necessary due to: (1) changes in government taxes or Yatra levies; (2) changes in Chinese visa or permit fees imposed by the Government of China; or (3) helicopter charter surcharges arising from fuel price increases exceeding 10% of prevailing rates at time of booking.
No-Cost EMI: No-Cost EMI is available through select payment partners. EMI availability is subject to the payment partner's terms and eligibility criteria. Divine Mantra Private Limited is not the EMI provider and is not responsible for EMI approval decisions.
The registration deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including medical reasons, visa rejection, or inability to travel. The following refund schedule applies to the balance amount paid.
| Cancellation Period Before Departure | Refund Amount |
|---|---|
| More than 60 days | 75% of total package cost (deposit non-refundable) |
| 45–60 days | 50% of total package cost |
| 30–45 days | 25% of total package cost |
| Less than 30 days | No refund |
Visa or Permit Rejection: If the Chinese Group Visa or Tibet Travel Permit is rejected despite submission of correct and complete documents, we will offer either: (a) a full credit note valid for 24 months on any future batch, or (b) a refund of 75% of the package cost (excluding the non-refundable deposit and visa processing fees already incurred).
Medical Unfit at Check Post: If a pilgrim is declared medically unfit at the mandatory government medical examination point (Dharchula or Nepalgunj), refunds are governed by the cancellation policy applicable on the date of the examination. No special exception is made for medical unfitness.
Cancellation by the Company: We reserve the right to cancel a batch due to: Tibet border closure, natural disasters, force majeure, insufficient registrations, government orders, war, civil unrest, or pandemic restrictions. In such cases, we will offer a full credit note or full refund of amounts paid (excluding non-recoverable third-party costs) within 30 working days.
Refund Processing Timeline: All approved refunds are processed to the original payment source within 15–30 working days of refund approval. Bank transfer charges, if any, are borne by the customer. GST paid on cancelled bookings will be refunded only if we are able to claim the corresponding Input Tax Credit reversal under applicable GST rules.
Published itineraries are based on the best available information. The actual journey may vary due to factors beyond our control. Pilgrim safety and welfare is our primary consideration in making any change.
The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra reaches altitudes of up to 5,630 metres. The following medical requirements and responsibilities are mandatory for all pilgrims.
Emergency Equipment: We carry emergency oxygen cylinders, pulse oximeters and first-aid kits for group use throughout the journey. These are emergency facilities and do not substitute for individual travel insurance or personal medical preparation.
Getting to Kailash requires three separate permits beyond your passport. Certain responsibilities in this process rest entirely with you — please read this section carefully before booking.
Tibet Autonomous Region — Your Compliance Obligations: You must comply with all regulations of the Tibet Autonomous Region including restrictions on photography, prohibited content on electronic devices, and conduct at the border crossing. Any confiscation, detention, fine or penalty arising from violation of these regulations is your sole responsibility. We strongly advise removing all politically sensitive content from all devices before entering Tibet.
The Kailash Yatra is a sacred journey. All pilgrims are expected to conduct themselves with respect for the sacred nature of the destinations, fellow pilgrims, our staff and local communities.
The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra involves travel to extreme high-altitude locations with inherent risks. By booking, you voluntarily acknowledge and assume these risks. Our liability is limited as described below.
Assumption of Risk: By booking and participating, you voluntarily assume all risks inherent in high-altitude pilgrimage travel — including altitude sickness, adverse weather, difficult terrain, medical emergencies, helicopter incidents, road accidents, and natural disasters — and acknowledge that such risks cannot be entirely eliminated.
| We Are NOT Liable For | Reason |
|---|---|
| Death, injury, or illness from high-altitude conditions | Inherent risk assumed by pilgrim |
| Loss or damage to personal property or baggage | Personal responsibility and travel insurance |
| Delays or cancellations caused by weather, government action, or force majeure | Beyond our reasonable control |
| Actions or omissions of third-party providers (airlines, helicopter operators, local hotels in Tibet and Nepal) | We are a facilitator, not the direct provider |
| Visa or permit rejection by Chinese or Indian authorities | Government decision outside our control |
| Consequences of a pilgrim's failure to disclose a material health condition | Sole responsibility of the pilgrim |
Maximum Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Divine Mantra Private Limited's liability for any claim arising from a booking shall be limited to the total amount paid by you for the package, excluding non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence, or for fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
We shall not be in breach of these Terms and shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance arising directly or indirectly from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Our Commitment in Force Majeure Situations: In the event of force majeure, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative experience or to arrange an orderly return of pilgrims already on the journey. Commercial decisions about future batches will be communicated transparently and promptly to all booked pilgrims.
Any complaint about our services should first be addressed to us in writing. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and endeavour to resolve it within 30 working days.
