The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by bus is the most popular and most affordable way to complete this pilgrimage. On Kailash Mansarovar overland tours, the difficult terrain of Kailash Mansarovar becomes comparatively easy and accessible with the modern road infrastructure and transport system in Tibet. This 14-day-long trip begins from Kathmandu with a scenic drive to Kerung, crossing the Nepal border from Rasuwagadhi. The journey gives your body the best possible time to acclimatise, gaining altitude gradually across multiple days before reaching Mansarovar at 4,590m and Dolma La Pass at 5,630m during the Parikrama. For first-time pilgrims, especially, this is the most sensible and safest route.
